Homeschoolin' & Coolin' is about finding your own unique learning lifestyle. I never want to try and force parentals into a box. That goes against everything homeschool stands for. I want to be able to help families thrive in their zone.
After five years of homeschool, there is time for a change. Road school is something I've been planning for a year now. The first sector as I call it, was us building a family crest. The coolin' part. We love creativity, being active, a bit weird and chill. Road school would be Sector 2. Where we venture the U.S.A to find the most outstanding museums, libraries and parks. Sector 3 is unschooling. When Qwo will begin his independent journey.
I split H&C in two yearly. In the colder months (Nov.-March) we do a lot of reviewing with an emphasis on personal development and life skills. During the warmer months (April-Oct.) we go all in for new concepts.
Making the choice of establishing a learning lifestyle takes boldness and tunnel vision. Many might have negative things to say. But the strength your family fortifies will withstand any attack. Taking that step of accountability gifts a sense of freedom. And at Homeschoolin' and Coolin it's the target goal.
