Are the Kids Alright?

When equity is involved. It should include sustaining a safe environment for all children. The U.S national budget proposes to supply 20.5 billion to high poverty schools. While only providing 66 million to survivors of human trafficking. Although Black and migrant children are most trafficked in this country.

My inner ear hears the silent cries of the youth trapped, coerced, and sometimes born into sex culture. In this era, childhood goes

immediately to adulthood. With no adolescent transition. This break in innocence leaves society in a moral dilemma.

Most kids in sex culture lack boundaries. Complex judgement must be used when dealing with such trauma. Commitment to public good should override current social attitudes. Our solutions should include resolution skills and legal responsibility. Ending human trafficking is every Mama's duty.
